Grad Bites: Tackling Life after Uni

 
Leaving university can be both exciting and daunting. We spoke to Emma Rafferty, a qualified primary school teacher, about the things that worry students when embarking on their post-uni journey, including finances and facing the unknown. She gives helpful tips for life after uni, including how to deal with stress.

 
 

 
 

About Emma:

Emma studied Primary Education at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, where she gained her Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) status. She specialises in early years education. After graduating, she worked in London for her NQT year, before deciding she wanted to work in international education and so worked for 5 years in Dubai and Budapest. She has recently moved back to the UK where she will work freelance in different teaching settings.
