Disappointed with your degree grade?

After all of your hard work, it can be disappointing if you don’t get the degree grade you were hoping for. But, as long as you’re positive and proactive, you can make good things happen…

Here are some useful steps to take:
> Be prepared to take a less direct route into your preferred career; get a foot in the door, build experience, prove yourself

> Find other ways to stand out e.g. write a show stopping cover letter, or produce a truly creative application

> Research short courses and qualifications specific to your industry to boost employability

> Focus on securing working experience and internships which will massively impress employers

> Use your personal and professional network to find people to talk to, and make yourself visible

So, even if you feel unhappy with your degree grade, there’s still plenty of time to get where you want to be.
