Flavour of the Month: Fruity Flavoured Water
Infusing your water with fruit is a great way to stay hydrated, give your metabolism a nice boost and prevent overeating, as sometimes dehydration is disguised as hunger! It’s also a great thing to do when you’re hung over to replace all the lost nutrients etc. Fruit such as lemon and lime have great detoxifying benefits and infusing your water can be an easy way to keep it interesting.
Serves: 1
Prep time: 5 minutes
Shelf life: 2 days (the longer you leave the fruit in the water, the more infused it will become, giving you a stronger flavour).
Method
- Cut the fruit into desired shapes and infuse in cold water.
- We recommend infusing your water the night before, and keeping it cool in the fridge overnight for you to enjoy as a refreshing beverage the following day!
